The present study was an effort to provide overview of status fishing practices, gears and crafts used in fishing, common species caught by gear the 5 upzillas four districts Chalan beel. describes available beel, Bangladesh. carried out 7 spots under upazilas 4 such as Atrai upazila (Nawgaon), Singra upazila, Gurudaspur (Natore), Chatmohor (Pabna) Tarash (Sirajganj), respectively. Eye observation interview method were applied for data collection. During period, 20 different types observed. Fishing including 9 net (Ber jal, Khepla Puti Thela Current Moi Veshal Suti jal Dharma jal); trap (Kholson, Doair, Polo Vair); 3 wounding (Koach, Ek kata Angta) hooks lines (Chip borsi, Nolborsi, Daun borsi Jiala) found. Another 2 also recorded. Among nets area it recorded that maximum length 363.33±109.70 fit jal) minimum 15±5 (Dharma Jal).
